These cupcakes are sure to bring the kids and adults running to the table. Tasty enough to please the kids and pretty enough to catch the eye of adults, Double Fudge Chocolate Cupcakes are sure to please.

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 eggs
3 tablespoons softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk chocolate chips

For Topping:
Buttercream frosting (recipe here)
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (such as Smucker’s) for drizzle

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Add paper liners to muffin pan.  Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl cream  the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in  vanilla.  Alternately add the flour mixture  with the milk. Beat well after each addition. Fill the muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. When cool, frost with buttercream frosting and drizzle with a ribbon of hot fudge sauce. .

Yum is all I can say. My husband’s favorite cake flavor is chocolate so I can’t see how he wouldn’t love these. Thank you for sharing.
