Sandzini Makes Magical Sculptures & Giveaway
My kids have always been enamored with products they could use for building, modeling or sculpting. We’ve spent many hours many clay pots that didn’t turn out quite the way we hoped or making sculptures of different objects. I even used these techniques in my elementary school classes to teach basic art skills. Creative, fun, sparks the imagination, what more could a parent ask for in a toy?
has stepped up the basic creative process with their new magical sculpting compound. Available in seven different colors, this molding compound can be squeezed into any shape or design. Best of all, it’s no mess. I didn’t believe the claims until I tried it for myself. There was none left sticking to my table or my hands after I finished playing with it. We received the Sandzini Ice Cream Parlor Set, designed for ages three and up. It included six colors of modeling compound, pink, green, blue, yellow, purple and brownish gold, three modeling tools and instructions of how to make basic shapes. Obviously it is not intended to be eaten but just in case a little hand grabs it before you can stop them, it is nontoxic.
The modeling compound must be squeezed for fifteen seconds before beginning but then it is ready to go. We spent the afternoon creating all sorts of tempting treats that had no calories but sure looked tasty! I found that some of the shapes require patience to create and it certainly helps to read the instructions before beginning. It does say to let the compound dry if you would like to keep these creations but we didn’t do this step so we could use the compound over and over again. The compound can be stored in the included plastic baggies without drying out if the baggies are sealed. We had a lot of fun with the Ice Cream Creator and I can definitely say it encourages creativity.
One person will receive a Sandzini Dinosaur Sculpting Kit.
