Preparing for Holiday Houseguests with Toilet Tree & Giveaway

I’ve been looking for ways to spruce up my house before our holiday guests arrive. Sure, I could paint a few of the rooms but who has time during this season? I needed small accessories to brighten up my rooms. I started with the kids’ bathroom. I needed to jazz up the countertop a little. I found a three piece Bamboo Accessory Kit from Toilet Tree products that I thought might add some pizazz. The durable bamboo construction means it will stand up against the abuses that come from sharing a bathroom with teenagers and it’s environmentally friendly too.
The set comes complete with a lotion dispenser, a toothbrush holder and a soap dish. All the products can be placed separately on the counter or together in one space. I liked the sleek look and design of the set but I loved its ability to be cleaned easily. I do suggest making sure to dry the pieces completely after they have been cleaned.
One note-the toothbrush holder might not hold all sizes of toothbrushes, especially the wide bottomed ones. If this happens the metal plate is removable and toothbrushes can be added without using the plate. The metal lotion dispenser and soap dish are removable as well for speedy cleanup.
Because I tend to use liquid soap instead of bar soap in the bathrooms (less soap scum mess for me to clean), I filled the lotion container with soap instead of lotion. Then I used the soap dish to hold other items, like razors. With the lotion container and toothbrush container set out separately, the back of the soap dish is a good catch all for items I leave lying out until I need them. This set could be used in a kitchen as well as an attractive accent piece.
