Flawless Holiday Skin with Mia Mariu & Giveaway

It’s the holidays, a time of reflection, a time of giving, a time of stress. I know I can’t be the only person who finds themselves with a list of activities, errands and chores a mile long. As much as I enjoy the holidays, it seems I’m constantly crunched for time. Too little sleep, too much stress and grabbing too many quick bites on the go leads to my skin looking …tired. That’s the polite way to say those fine lines are showing and I’m breaking out.
I needed some help trying to fake a glowing complexion. I found Mia Mariu and browsed through their collection of mineral makeup. When I read their products were infused with Green Tea to help protect my skin and didn’t clog pores, one of the keys to preventing breakouts, I knew I had to try them. I chose the Perfecting Polish Mineral Foundation Primer and the Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation in Trigo.
When I received my package I discovered I’d also been given a makeup sponge wedge, great for keeping my fingers from touching my face and causing more breakouts, and samples of the Microdermabrasion Refinisher Cream, Microdermabrasion Thermal Activator and the Hydrating Moisturizer SPF 30+. It was a refreshing way to prepare my skin before applying makeup.
I began my routine by applying the Primer. It’s designed to be worn under the mineral makeup to help ensure a smooth finish and even application. I liked the way it blended into my skin and didn’t feel greasy. My skin felt smooth to the touch after application. Next, I used the sponge to apply the Mineral Foundation.
Designed to leave a flawless finish ,even in humidity which happens often in the South, create an even skin tone and provide age minimizing effects, I’m thrilled to have added this to my daily routine. After all, I don’t want people to think I look younger than I am no matter how little sleep or how much stress I’m under. The foundation covers the slight redness I sometimes experience around my nose and lasts for hours.
