“Mom, can you get your own memory card for your camera?” my son asked. “You’re using the card for my Wii and I can’t play my games.” While I had no sympathy for my son’s loss of game time, I did need a memory card that could hold several photos, especially since I have the annoying habit of forgetting to upload pictures to my computer and erase the card memory. Nothing is more aggravating than trying to take a photo only to have a “Memory Full. Please delete items.” message pop up on my camera screen.
When my package from Sandisk arrived in the mail, my son opened it and found an Ultra SDHC Card. “Finally,” he said. “You have your own and I can have my card back.” I wasn’t disappointed to give him his card back because my new card is so much better. Not only is it water proof, temperature proof, shock proof and x-ray proof, all problems I’ve had to worry about in the past, it has up to 20 MB transfer speed. That means I can transfer my photos to my computer in seconds and I can capture the spur of the moment shots of my kids and pets. Whenever I see them doing something cute and try to take a picture, they’ve stopped the cuteness before the picture snaps. Now I can catch them in the act.
I also received a Cruzer Facet USB Flash Drive with 8 GB of storage. I’ve lost more pictures, files, and unfortunately for the kids, homework stored on my computer, due to computer crashes or viruses than I can count. You can bet I will be backing up my files in the future. The files will be safe because of the SanDisk Secure Access software included on the drive. I’ll be able to find my drive because they’re available in eye popping designs and are made to be attached to a keychain. I even doubt my kids could lose this flash drive!
One person will receive a SanDisk Flash Drive and Ultra SDHC card.
