“It’s my teeth!” I’d been halfheartedly listening to a conversation when this statement caught my attention. “Seriously?” I asked. “You think your teeth make you look younger?” “Since I had them whitened everyone says I look younger,” she responded. “But it’s expensive,” she added. “I just spent $1000.” I reflected on this statement and decided I wanted whiter teeth too. (Hey, whatever works to make me look younger.) I knew what Bryan would say if I told him I wanted to spend $1000 on teeth whitening, something along the lines of “Why? Your teeth look fine.” I decided to find a more cost effective way to get the same results.
I actually had someone ask me if I had my teeth professionally whitened. Bryan used the toothpaste for seven days and had whiter teeth too. Although he had no problems, I have sensitive teeth and had a couple of side effects. I had used the toothpaste for two days when I noticed my gums hurt whenever I brushed my teeth. My teeth were also more sensitive to hot and cold. I still use Optic White, because it works, but I only use it two days a week to keep the side effects from reoccurring.
