Blogher Bound with Lilla Rose Flexi Clip (up for grabs)

When it comes to hair care, I am a pretty straight forward type of gal. I have naturally wavy hair which can usually be controlled with a simple “brush and go” method. If it is high humidity all bets are off. Talk about frizz central! I pull my hair up into a ponytail.

This year I’ll be attending Blogher for the first time. I was thrilled until I began reading the forums about the parties and fashions. Would my ‘everyday’ hairstyle work? Did I need something more formal? Because I am low maintenance I needed something simple, something I could pull off with ease and still achieve an elegant look. I began by choosing which size of Flexi Clip I would need. I watched the video tutorial that explained the size I would need, based on hair length and texture. With a selection of over 70 items, I knew I would have a difficult time choosing just one!

I received the Hawaiian Flower described as “perfect for a lovely updo.” I was worried I wouldn’t be able to achieve any updos, but a instruction sheet was included that gave step by step directions with photos for a ponytail, a half up ponytail, a tails up, and a French twist. I was able to create the half up ponytail in a matter of minutes. I used a medium Flexi Clip and my hair was a little too thick to create the ponytail. I will know to order my next clip one size larger.
